Project Ratta-tat: Learning everything I can about my Nomad

Last year around this time, I bought an e-ink tablet to help with eye strain. It was the Supernote Nomad. A lot of reviews online recommended it and the looks of the whole device was something I really rocked with. Now that its been a full year since I’ve got this tablet, there are some things I’d want to be able to do.

Supernote Ratta, the company, hasn’t published any public SDK to use for the device, nor have they announced any intention to in the near future. Also, they don’t have much mention of the features that I’d like the tablet to have. So my thought was to maybe work on the features myself, and learn all the ins and outs of this device while I’m at it! Seems challenging but sounds fun. I might end up with a device that ends up being a nice display piece at the end of this whole thing, but at the same time, I don’t want to be just waiting the whole time until they make any new implementations.
